Club Meetings
Club meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM, and at 11:00 AM on the second Tuesday of every month. We hold two meetings per month with the same agenda to accommodate both morning and evening-weighted schedules. Meetings are located 640 1725 Rd., Delta, CO, 81416 (please see map below). (Note: Meetings are held in the art studio situated behind the garage directly ahead as you enter the driveway. Parking is available behind the studio.) Members and interested parties are encouraged to attend any meeting of the Black Canyon Camera Club. Attendees can enter on the south-east corner of the building. Please refer to the "Event Calendar" for specific details on any club event, including itineraries for each meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!
Upcoming Meeting Information
The BCCC meetings will be held on February 6 at 6pm and on February 13 at 11am. It was requested that we take a look at the new AI “stuff” in Photoshop so that’s what we are going to do. If you have a laptop with Photoshop installed, it might be fun for you to bring it to the meeting and we can explore all the things together.
Don’t forget to bring some photos to share. “Snow" is this month’s theme but as always you’re not limited to that topic.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We are finally going to have our Lightroom course! The course will be held on three Saturday’s in March: 2nd, 9th and16th from 9am until around noon. Each session will build on the last. We will begin with the basics of how to create catalogs, importing, organization, etc. We will then progress to using keyboard shortcuts, and an understanding of the functionality of different LR components.
These sessions are not intended to be an exhaustive course of all that LR has to offer. Instead it will be more of an introduction to what LR can do (with more depth in some areas than others) to give folks a start to start using and exploring on their own.
This is going to be a hands on course so a laptop with LR installed is required. Also, since we will be holding it in Linda’s studio and space is limited, attendance will be capped at 15 participants on a first come first serve basis. Priority will be given to paid members of BCCC (dues have been raised to $30 to help offset the cost of the website). If you would like to attend, either reply to this email or message me if you’re reading it on Facebook.
Hope to see you all at a February meeting. - Nolan
